Alternate Route to Licensure Program

We are offering a newly state of ÁùºÏ±¦µä approved ARL Program for special education teachers who need licensure in Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Generalist and Early Childhood Special Education.

Alternate Route to Licensure FAQ's 

  1. Will the licensure courses count in a Masters Degree?  Yes, if you apply to a M.Ed. program in the College of Education.
  2. Can I work with an advisor?  Absolutely, we can help you every step of the way.
  3. Are there online course options?  Yes, we have fully online, hybrid and face to face course offerings
  4. How long will it take to complete the licensure courses?  If you take two courses per semester, including summer you can finish in two years or less.
  5. 5. Do I have to start the program in the fall or can I wait until spring?  We can personalize your program. Our goal is to enhance your teaching.
