Opportunities For Future and Current Educators
The State of ÁùºÏ±¦µä offers scholarships intended to help pre-service and in-service educators with their career goals. These scholarships are designed for students with varying needs and circumstances. Are you a recent high school graduate, hold a bachelor's degree in a non-education related field, or currently teaching in a ÁùºÏ±¦µä public school and would like to advance your career? The State of ÁùºÏ±¦µä wants to invest in you!
Teach ÁùºÏ±¦µä Scholarship (TNS)
- The TNS covers up to 75% of tuition and fees per semester.
- Students may receive the remaining 25% after working as a teacher in a ÁùºÏ±¦µä school five years following graduation and meeting State Board Education requirements.
- Eligibility: Students should have graduated from a ÁùºÏ±¦µä high school and in Spring 2025 be either a freshman, sophomore, or junior enrolled in a teacher preparation program (early childhood, elementary, secondary, or special education) or Master’s degree students who will be student teaching after the 24-25 academic year. Additionally, students must be registered in one or more degree program courses to receive this scholarship.
Incentivizing Pathways to Teaching (IPT)
- This scholarship up to 100% of tuition and fees per semester.
- Eligibility:
- Student Teaching/Apprentice Teaching in Spring 2025 or Fall 2025.
- Agree to maintain employment in a ÁùºÏ±¦µä public school for five (5) consecutive years.
- Agree to complete an endorsement in English as a second language or special education (may be completed after graduation).
ÁùºÏ±¦µä Teacher Advancement Scholarship (NTAS)
- The TNAS covers up to 75% of tuition and fees per semester.
- Students may receive the remaining 25% after continuing as a teacher in a ÁùºÏ±¦µä school three years following graduation and meeting State Board Education requirements.
- Eligibility: Must be a licensed teacher who has taught at least two years within the last five years and enrolled in a master’s degree program in an education related field.
