Emergency and non-emergency contacts

For any emergency situation, call 9-1-1.

Registered students, faculty and staff members will receive emergency information by text or email through Emergency Alerts. Emergency information will also be posted to social media.

Pack Rides requests

Pack Rides provides on-demand rides to and from University locations during evening hours throughout the academic year.

Fingerprinting

The University Police Department offers fingerprinting services by appointment at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno main station. This service is also offered to the public. If you're having fingerprints done to comply with the University's Policy for the Protection of Children, be sure to bring a printed, completed packet and an IPO to your appointment.

Dissemination request

The Police Department may provide court case information to parties involved. Requests must be filed online or in person to have a case approved for dissemination.

Ride-along request

The Police Department offers a ride-along program for educational purposes related to criminal justice and law enforcement practices. To request a ride-along, complete the form below and email it to unrpd@police.unr.edu.

Women's self-defense class

University Police offers different options for those wanting to know more about women's self-defense. The Girls on Guard Drop-In classes are for students looking for a weekly workout and the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) academic course over the course of the semester teaches women about awareness and defense techniques. The form below is for community self-defense classes or private group classes for departments or campus-recognized groups.

We provide advocate services to people affected by harassment, assault, stalking, and other crimes. Our goal is to give you a voice and ensure you have the resources you need.
