Summary
Brittnee Marie Aldea was born and raised in Reno, ÁùºÏ±¦µä, by her parents who are originally from the Philippines. She and her brother are first-generation college graduates, with Brittnee being the first in her family to pursue a graduate degree. Brittnee had the opportunity to work with Dean's Future Scholars in the 2023 summer program as a guest educator, where she emphasized the significance of nutrition, physical activity, and outdoor safety to students. Continuing her journey with Northern ÁùºÏ±¦µä Public Health, she leads initiatives to enhance public understanding of health programs, including the Walking School Bus, Bike Month activities, and Senior Fitness Workshops. Driven by her passion for inclusivity, community improvement, and public health, Brittnee educates, advocates, builds relationships, and directly addresses the health, quality, and equity needs of the community, making it better for everyone.
