Summary
Lesley Gomez is an MTSS Data Integration Specialist for the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Center for Excellence in Disabilities, located within the College of Education and Human Development. Her primary role is to partner with school leadership teams to evaluate and sustain Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) through technical assistance and training across ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
Gomez is working toward becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and receiving her master’s degree from University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in applied behavior analysis in special education in 2022. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in 7-12 education conferred in 2020 from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Her previous experience includes providing parent training through both Positive Behavior Support-ÁùºÏ±¦µä and Healthy Home Life, working as a school district’s MTSS external coach and teaching in the classroom.
She holds a ÁùºÏ±¦µä Instructional License in secondary education and a Texas Educator license in English language arts and reading grades 7-12. Gomez's additional training includes SWIS/ISWIS Data Systems Facilitator.
