Student organization conduct history

The Office of Student Conduct supports opportunities for student development and student success achieved through clubs and organizations. The Student Code of Conduct establishes an expectation that students involved in clubs and organizations — recognized by the University of ��ϱ��, Reno — will demonstrate high standards of behavior.

The Office of Student Conduct has jurisdiction when allegations of misconduct by a club or organization are reported and will investigate the allegations. The investigations of misconduct by a club or organization may result in findings of responsibility for the group and/or the individual members of the group.

Disciplinary action against the club or organization is determined on a case-by-case basis. The conduct process for clubs and organizations is not only a disciplinary process, but an educational process. The process is designed to educate students about the importance of community-based resolution of misconduct and to provide a learning experience for the student(s) involved.

This educational process has the potential of resulting in developmental growth, changes in behavior, and increased understanding of obligations and privileges within the university community for students, clubs, and organizations. All mentors, volunteers, coaches, trainers, advisors and third-party contractors designated to provide service or guidance to the University of ��ϱ��, Reno Freestyle Winter Sports Club or individual members of the University of ��ϱ��, Reno Freestyle Winter Sports Club must be approved by the Assistant Dean of Student Conduct or leadership staff member designee. Educational Sanctions Attend a club renewal workshop with your 2023 – 2024 club commissioner prior to submitting the club registration form to renew Freestyle Winter Sports Club for 2023 -2024. Complete 2023 - 2024 Club Registration form by June 30, 2023. Complete Additional 2023 - 2024 Competitive Club Sport Tasks by the deadline imposed by Fitness and Recreational Sports. Participate in and complete all 2023 – 2024 scheduled officer trainings and club meetings required by the Center for Student Engagement/ASUN for recognized clubs and organizations. Participate in and complete all 2023 – 2024 scheduled officer trainings and club meetings required by Fitness and Recreational Sports for recognized competitive sports clubs. Meet with 2023 - 2024 club commissioner by 5pm on September 25, 2023. The 2023 – 2024 President, Treasurer, and Safety Officer must complete educational meetings with the Center for Student Engagement Assistant Director of Clubs and Organizations or designee that is a leadership staff member until 5pm on February 19, 2024, with the first meeting occurring no later than 5pm on September 25, 2023. The 2023 – 2024 President, Treasurer, and Safety Officer must meet monthly, with the Fitness & Recreational Sports Associate Director or leadership staff member designee to discuss safety, budget, and issues associated with competition. The monthly meetings shall occur no later than 5pm on September 25, 2023, and shall occur each month until 5pm on February 19, 2024. The names of the 2023 – 2024 coach and advisor must be submitted to Fitness and Recreational Sports and Center for Student Engagement administrative faculty by June 30, 2023. The 2023 – 2024 coach and advisor must complete and accept all terms and conditions required by ASUN and Fitness and Recreational Sports by June 30, 2023. The 2023 – 2024 coach and advisor will meet monthly with the Fitness and Recreational Sports Associate Director or leadership staff member designee to establish and build a relationship to support and guide the team members. Women's Lacrosse Club 2023	Club Sport	Knowingly furnishing false information to any University or NSHE official, faculty member or office. Forgery, alteration, misuse, theft, destruction, or using without permission, any University or NSHE property, document, or record. Knowingly furnishing false information in documents submitted to the University or NSHE.	Suspension of play and function January 23, 2023 - August 26, 2024. Probation August 27, 2024- June 30, 2025. Identification and appointment of new advisor. Identification and appointment of new coach.
