Become a Hearing Board Member
There are two types of hearing boards facilitated by the Office of Student Conduct:
- Student Conduct Board. The Student Conduct Board hears cases where students have been charged with violations of the Student Code of Conduct.
- Academic Integrity Board. The Academic Integrity Board hears cases of cheating plagiarism, or other attempts to obtain or earn a grade under false pretenses. Review the requirements for undergraduate and graduate student hearing board members below. If you believe you meet these requirements, submit a hearing board application. Once submitted, you will be contacted by a member of our office to follow up on your application as soon as practical.
Online training is required for both faculty and students who serve on either the Student Conduct or Academic Integrity Board. Faculty and students selected to serve as chairs will have additional training regarding this role.
