Public screenings are offered on Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Earlier showtimes are typically suitable for visitors with children under 10 years of age, while evening shows are meant for viewers 10 years and older.
Note: On select first Fridays, live concerts featuring local musicians are held in the Full-Dome Theater. Shows and times are subject to substitution based on licensing and availability. More information to come.
Monthly events, stargazing and changing shows
The shows offered during the 6 p.m. showtime on Fridays and Saturdays are on a rotating schedule.
On "First Fridays," the Planetarium hosts live music programs/presentations at 6 p.m., and stargazing takes place after the last show of the day (8 p.m.), weather permitting.
On "Second Saturdays," the Planetarium offers hands-on workshops at 5 p.m. and live star tour presentations at 6 p.m.
