Liberal Arts Scholarships
The College of Liberal Arts and its departments offer many scholarships for juniors and seniors. Students should talk to a faculty advisor about departmental scholarships that they might be qualified to apply for.
If students are interested in receiving a scholarship, they must complete and submit the general University scholarship application form. More information, including a link to the FAFSA application, is available through the University's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The deadline is Feb. 1.

Redfield Hispanic Gateway Scholarship
Enhance any degree or major on campus with a Spanish B.A. By adding a Spanish degree, you could qualify for a $10,000 scholarship through the Redfield Foundation ($5,000 in your junior year, $5,000 in your senior year), with a minimum 3.5 GPA. How doable is graduating with two degrees? Very. Hundreds of UNR students have graduated on time with a dual degree in Spanish and another major. 90% of Spanish majors today are dual majors, enhancing their degrees in Liberal Arts, STEM, Business, Engineering, Nursing, and beyond.
