Summary
Amanda Rios is the academic advisor for the Reynolds School of Journalism. She recently completed her higher education administration M.A. in the Educational Leadership program at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in spring 2021. During her time as a first-generation graduate student, she worked as a graduate assistant for the College of Science and the Honors College as a graduate intern.
She is a born and raised ÁùºÏ±¦µän, and the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno is also where she also completed her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. Before working for the University, she worked for the Washoe County school district for six years in various positions.
She enjoys spending time outside, from hiking to hunting down hot springs, snowboarding, going to Tahoe and also traveling.
