Move-in day for Honors College Living and Learning Community
Advance check-in required: To ensure students can participate in the full day of essential HonorsFIT programming on Saturday, August 17th, all admitted Honors College students (both living on- and off-campus) should complete their check-ins on Thursday or Friday (August 15 or 16) at the between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Saturday should be free for HonorsFIT programming only.
Meals: While lunch will be provided, please make sure to eat breakfast on your own before check-in.
Parking: Parking is available in the new on the south end of campus.
Moving in: If you will be living on campus, you can choose to move in either from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on either:
- Thursday, August 15, or
- Friday, August 16
What to expect
- Park in the West Stadium Parking Complex (no charge this day).
- Check-in at the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center in the heart of campus. At check-in, students will receive:
- Room keys
- Parking pass and map to your building
- iPad
- Apple Keyboard Folio
- Apple Pencil
- Drive your vehicle to the designated unloading area and move in.

All Honors students are required to attend HonorsFIT and should bring their iPad. Please bring water to our event, if desired, as August days in Reno are typically hot and sunny, and there will be time spent outside. Attendees are encouraged to wear sunscreen and/or hats, as well as comfortable walking shoes and warm-weather clothing.
