Location

Our pantry is located inside of the Center for Student Engagement on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.

Pack Provisions is the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno's on-campus food pantry, located on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union within the Center for Student Engagement. It offers free access to food and hygiene supplies for all Wolf Pack members, including students, staff, and faculty, ensuring their academic journey is not hindered.

The pantry provides a range of resources, including perishable and non-perishable foods, meal swipes, school supplies, and more, helping to build community within the University. It operates without government funding, ensuring no impact on the status of international students or financial aid awards. The only requirement to access its services is an active NSHE ID number. If you have any questions, please email packprovisions@asun.unr.edu.

Visit us

Students, staff, and faculty interested in receiving food and hygiene supplies can visit the pantry in person in the Center for Student Engagement to pick out their items.

Before utilizing the pantry, users must fill out an intake form. The data provided in these forms is confidential and only the aggregate responses are reported to the appropriate agencies.

For any questions or concerns, please email packprovisions@asun.unr.edu.

Volunteer

Our program relies on volunteers to provide the highest quality and most accessible service to our campus community. All of our volunteering opportunities are posted on , where you are able to sign up for the events and opportunities that interest you.

Make a donation

A big part of what Pack Provisions provides to the university community is carried out through donations of items and funds. Please email packprovisions@asun.unr.edu before making a larger donation, especially if your donation includes perishable food. Thank you!

Host a drive

Many of our resources come from donations. We encourage clubs, organizations and university departments to consider our program when planning donation drives of food, toiletry items, or school supplies. Donated resources will stay and support members of the university community. Because we are a small program with limited space, any excess donations that we cannot use will be donated to a local organization.

Pack Provisions can support your donation drive by:

  • Providing customized donation bins to set up in locations on campus or at your event. We can drop off these bins to your location and pick up the bins and any donated items. Please fill out the following request form to reserve these bins for your event.
  • Promoting your drive through existing Center for Student Engagement channels such as through social media platforms and newsletters. (Be aware that this does not include ASUN's Inkblot graphic design or video services.)
