Grants and awards
Below you will find the grants and awards offered by the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies. Each has it's own requirements so be sure to choose the right one for your needs.
Academic and administrative faculty are invited to submit proposals for up to $3,000 in funding for projects that will enhance and promote the development of research and other creative efforts that have a significant international dimension. The grant program gives special consideration to proposals that produce meaningful results that contribute to the international strengths of the University. Proposals are reviewed by a committee of the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies. The award is funded by the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies and Office of the Provost.
The Ozmen Institute for Global Studies at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno, in collaboration with the Graduate School, the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and the Office of the Provost have jointly provided and allocated special funds to enhance and promote international research activities for graduate students in different disciplines on campus. The grant program gives special consideration to proposals which produce meaningful results that contribute to the research and outreach mission of the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies at the university.

The Global Engagement Award is a University-wide award for full-time academic faculty and administrative faculty in recognition of their outstanding contributions to international programs, international program development, academic and global research programs, or international research and teaching at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. Funding is provided by the the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies, the Office of International Students & Scholars, University Studies Abroad Consortium and the Office of the Provost.
