Summary
I am a Ph.D. student in the Geological Sciences and Engineering Department. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s in Earth and Climate Science from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune, India. My master’s research focused on the climate weathering interactions in the Himalayas relative to Indian Peninsula during the last glacial-interglacial cycle. Under the guidance of Dr. Joel Scheingross, my current work involves understanding the impact of physical parameters (such as topography, precipitation and erosion rate) on weathering of Shale landscapes – a significant source of CO2 emission over geologic timescales.
