Community climate survey
The Geoscience Community at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno, comprised of the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Bureau of Mines and Geology, the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Seismological Laboratory, and other affiliated individuals and organizations, conducts an annual community climate survey of its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. The survey is designed around issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice, but we welcome any and all feedback. All answers are anonymous and results are reported in aggregate to avoid the release of any potentially identifying information. Questions in this survey are part of an annual community climate survey conducted by ÁùºÏ±¦µä Geosciences (the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Bureau of Mines and Geology and the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Seismological Laboratory) and other affiliated individuals and organizations. The survey is organized by the Geoscience for All (GFA) committee.
To help ensure anonymity, raw data (i.e., the data for individual responses) will only be viewed by our climate survey committee consisting of Joel Scheingross, Dominik Vlaha, Joel DesOrmeau and Kyren Bogolub. This committee will review all data and comments, aggregate the data for collective viewing and summarize themes that emerge from individual comments. Comments made from individuals will not be publicly available, and all reported data will be anonymized.
