Ph.D. Geology she/her/hers

Summary

I am a first year PhD student studying under Dr. Stacia Gordon. I am studying the potential role of incorporation of metasedimentary rocks into the mid crust of the North Cascades arc in the timing of arc magma flare-ups. I received my BA in Geology from Albion College in 2019, and completed undergraduate research into the timing and nature of metamorphism in the Seve Nappe of the Scandinavian Caledonides. I interned at Los Alamos National Laboratory where I studied the chemistry of bentonite clays in the application of long term radioactive waste storage.
