Summary

My name is Melissa Rickenbacher and I am the Coordinator of Internship Programs at the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Career Studio.

As a member of the professional staff, I coordinate the Pack Internship Grant Program, the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program, and the Parker-Dewey Micro Internship platform. I work with our Employer Relations Team to cultivate relationships with employers to generate internship opportunities for University students. As Coordinator, I am also responsible for teaching ACE 400.

I am a first-generation college graduate. I graduated from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in history as well as a bachelor's in secondary education. I received my master's in equity and diversity in education from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in 2023.

Before joining the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Career Studio, I worked as a social studies teacher at Fernley High School and as the Literacy Specialist for Upward Bound ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
