Summary

Kym Pram has been a faculty member in the economics department since 2018. He was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the European University Institute and received his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University. 

Research interests

Kym's research area is microeconomic theory. His research focuses on the impacts of verifiable information in markets, as well as mechanism design and contract theory more broadly. Current projects include analyzing the impact of disclosure in matching markets, for example disclosure of SAT scores in college admissions, and incorporating the possibility of unawareness into mechanism design.
