Summary
Mala Kaul is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. Her current research focuses on the design and application of emergent technology, cybersecurity and privacy, health information technology, information systems design methodology, and the foundations of engaged research methods. She has extensive industry experience as an Information Systems professional in a wide variety of verticals including manufacturing, finance and hospitality. She received her B.Com. and M.A. in Industrial and International Economics from Kanpur University, India. She earned her MBA and PhD degrees from the Managerial Sciences department and the Computer Information Systems department respectively, in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. Her research has been presented at several national and international conferences, and published in the top information systems journals such as Management Information Systems Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems and Harvard Business School Case Studies.
