Nicholas Hunt, Ph.D., CPA is an assistant professor in the University's Accounting Department. Professor Hunt's research interests focus on factors influencing individual tax compliance, ethical behavior in accounting, and using crowdsourcing platforms for behavioral research. He is published in the Journal of Information Systems, Advances in Accounting, and Applied Psychology: An International Review.
Professor Hunt currently teaches federal tax and advanced federal tax as well as coordinates the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs for accounting majors. He is a member of the American Accounting Association and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
