Business Economics

Business Economics is a field that applies economic theory to the business world. In this field, students learn economic theory and tools to examine the internal decision-making of businesses and the external business environment. Students have several business classes to choose from depending on which aspect of the business environment they are interested in studying.

Operations Research:

  • MATH 752 – Operations Research II
  • MATH 753 – Stochastic Models and Simulation

Taxation and Policy:

  • ACC 783 – Taxation of C Corporations
  • ACC 789 – Federal Income Taxation: Policy Issues
