Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance)
The Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Finance prepares the next generation of financial economists with foundational knowledge and skills in the areas of asset pricing, corporate finance, insurance, and real estate. Training in research methods and statistics prepares students to create and test finance theory.

Doctoral students typically receive a research or teaching assistantship stipend. The stipend provides a competitive salary and a tuition waiver. Advanced students can supplement their stipend and gain valuable teaching experience by teaching a course or two during summer or winter sessions.
