Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a final deadline of June 1st each year. Your application packet is graded on several elements, from your work history to academic history, career progression to program fit.
Online EMBA admission requirements
To be considered for admissions, candidates should meet the following requirements:
✔ Bachelor's degree
Hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited four-year institution
✔ 2.75 GPA
Have an overall undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
✔ 5 years work experience
Have five or more years of professional work experience beyond undergraduate studies.

Official academic transcripts of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to The Graduate School.

You must submit a current, up-to-date resume/CV as part of your application.
☑ Statement of purpose
A statement of purpose is required to apply. Your statement of purpose should include both your career and educational objectives.

Your application must include contact information for two (2) references who will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
GRE/GMAT not required
Attending graduate school, completing a master's degree and maintaining your professional responsibilities is difficult enough. At The College of Business, our goal is to take weight off your shoulders and minimize the roadblocks to getting a graduate education.
That's why GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission to the online EMBA program at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno.

International candidate expectations
The EMBA program requires a significant amount of reading and writing. International candidates are expected to have a strong command of the English language — both written and spoken — to have success in the program.
*TOEFL testing waiver
The TOEFL score requirement is waived for students who have completed degree programs conducted in English in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia or New Zealand.
