ÁùºÏ±¦µä us

The Office of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (OSLCE) is the hub for service-learning and civic engagement at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno and within the Reno community. We strive to co-create democratically engaged partnerships that meet the immediate and long-term needs of the community, students and faculty.

OSLCE is an initiative under the Office of the Provost. We facilitate relationships between University faculty and community organizations for the purpose of providing structured experiences outside of the classroom that align with the curricular learning taking place inside the classroom. The integration of an academically rigorous model of learning and meaningful service with the community assists the student in achieving learning outcomes that help encourage civic responsibility.

Please feel free to contact our office any time with your service-learning or civic engagement questions at  (775) 784-4897 or at oslce@unr.edu.
