Summary
Peter Reed serves as Director of the Sanford Center for Aging in the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno School of Medicine and as Professor of Community Health Sciences. He is committed to service and collaboration, with over 20 years of experience in the field of aging and health that bridges research, practice, policy and leadership. He received his Ph.D. and M.P.H. in Health Behavior and Health Education from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a National Institute on Aging Pre-Doctoral Fellow. He is a Phi Beta Kappa-graduate of the University of Kentucky, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He is active with numerous boards and commissions, currently serving in volunteer leadership positions with National Consumer Voice, Eden Alternative International, Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California and Northern ÁùºÏ±¦µä, ÁùºÏ±¦µä POLST, and the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Task Force on Alzheimer’s disease.
