Students beginning classes in the fall semester (August) must attend a single-day orientation held in June or July. Orientation is required for all first-year students and optional but strongly encouraged for all new transfer students. All details including session dates and registration information will be available on the website by March.

All orientations consist of three parts:

1. A pre-orientation, web-based program to be completed prior to attending orientation. Login information will be sent via email.
2. In-person, on campus orientation day.
3. Academic Advising takes place the week following orientation. While attending orientation, students make a virtual appointment to meet with their academic advisor.
