Organizational resilience is the ability of an organization to anticipate, prepare for, respond and adapt to incremental change and sudden disruptions in order to survive and prosper. It is the managerial function charged with creating a framework within which the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno will reduce vulnerabilities to hazards and cope with disasters. Additionally, the office of Organizational Resilience collaborates to develop strategic continuity plans prioritizing actions to take before, during and after any disruption and to resume critical functions to return to full normal operations as soon as possible after an incident.

Build and sustain an integrated, comprehensive emergency management and continuity program for the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in order to save lives and protect property and research, safeguarding the environment and cultural resources.
