Summary
Annie Huhta joined the Mackay School in 2019. Huhta was employed by Newmont Goldcorp since 2005, most recently holding the position of Chief Geologist. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geology from the University of Idaho, and completed the Executive MBA program at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno in 2018.
In addition to 14 years of experience in the mining industry, Huhta has extensive experience building community support and increasing endowment funds as a non-profit board member and active volunteer. Annie’s vision is “to continue Mackay’s proud history and reputation for excellence while meeting new challenges, seizing innovation opportunities, and fostering collaboration.”
