The Mackay Connection to Industry

The Mackay School offers more than an education. With our strong connections to minerals and engineering organizations around the world, students can begin building their own connections in their first semester.

Bringing industry into the classroom

One of the most powerful ways out partnerships with industry impact our students is through the naming of professorships and chairs. Industry-sponsored positions help the Mackay School bring in the best faculty and, in turn, develop the best students and future employees. The Mackay School has 10 current named positions as well as two positions named as planned gifts to the School. Five of these positions were named by our partners in Industry.
