Introduction to community interpreting
This language-neutral course will allow bilingual participants with little or no prior interpreting experience to familiarize themselves with this rewarding and growing profession. Students will learn the basic skills needed to interpret in educational, medical and legal settings. This course is ideal for students who speak English and any second language. Community interpreting is a flexible field, and students working in a variety of industries, including education, legal, medical, tourism and hospitality, will benefit from this course.
