Graduate poster symposium

How to participate

The GSA Fall Poster Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Participants will be asked to submit an abstract by Friday, October 13, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Printing costs

GSA does not provide funding for poster printing costs; this is the responsibility of the student. Your advisor or department may be willing and able to cover this cost if you ask.

Competition categories

  • A1: Doctoral Students in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences,  Education, Business, Journalism and Social Work
  • B1: Master's Students in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Education, Business, Journalism and Social Work
  • A2: Doctoral Students in STEM and Public Health
  • B2: Master's Students in STEM and Public Health

Award amounts

Participants will be eligible for awards of up to $500. Graduate Students enrolled in the following programs are ineligible to receive any monetary awards from the GSA Poster Symposium; Doctorate of Medicine, Justice Management and Judicial Studies, and online programs (self-supporting programs).
