Summary
Nicole (Niki) Tomitz is a Ph.D. student in the Speech-Language Pathology Department through the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno School of Medicine specializing in dysphagia and voice. Her research is focusing on swallowing disorders for people with Parkinson's disease or after head and neck cancer. Niki obtained her bachelor's of science from Utah State University and her master's of science from Northern Arizona University. Prior to starting her graduate studies, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for eight years in the hospital systems of Arizona. In her free time, Niki likes to paddleboard, help her husband on their "fixer upper", and play with her two dogs.
