Summary

I am a 3rd year PhD candidate in Physics at the Department of Physics, University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä Reno. I am working as Graduate Research Assistant. My field of research is theoretical condensed matter physics. I taught physics to high school and undergraduate classes for 09years from 2012 to 2021 before joining my current position as PhD student at the University. During my career, I worked on many administrative positions, including but not limited to being elected as vice president of the local unit of Punjab Professors and Lecturer Association (PPLA), Pakistan. Outside my job life, I have helped build two literary organizations in Pakistan, a book club namely Faisalabad Reads and a public place named Lyallpur Tea House, both were dedicated to engage youth into community building and literary outreach. Finally, I helped organize the Pakistani community here at the University, which resulted in registering Pakistan Student Organization (PSO), of which I was elected as its first President.
