Facilities services' responsibility
Facilities Services is tasked with managing the administration of fuel cards through Pilot Thomas Logistics (Thomas Petroleum) for the purchase of fuel in University-owned vehicles, with the exception of University police vehicles. All University vehicles have access to fuel pumps located at any Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) station nationwide. If a driver should have any issues with the card while attempting to fuel a vehicle while at a pump, call the toll-free number supplied on the back of the fuel card to reach a representative immediately. They will be able to reset the pump so fueling can commence.
Drivers' responsibility
Fuel cards are issued for each vehicle and must be secured at all times. PIN numbers are issued to individual drivers and are not to be shared with anyone. University fuel cards are for official University business only. Any other use is considered theft of University property.
Contact information
Orders for new fuel cards, replacement cards, deactivations and driver personal identification numbers (PINs) are placed through Facilities Services Department contact, Michele Morrow. Requests may be emailed to Michele Morrow at mmorrow@unr.edu. Any questions regarding the program should be directed to Michele at (775) 784-6357.
