What will I learn in an entrepreneurship minor program?

The entrepreneurship minor is open to all students at the University. This allows any student to complement their major with fundamental entrepreneurial skills, enhancing their ability to one day open and operate a business. By choosing appropriate electives, students can tailor their minor to their major field.

The entrepreneurship program seeks to provide students with fundamental entrepreneurial skills, enhancing their ability to open and operate a business.

The minor requires 18 total credits. There are three required courses, comprising 9 credits. The remaining 9 credits are electives. Required classes include new venture creation, entrepreneurial finance and applied entrepreneurship. The elective courses are chosen through a pre-approved list of business classes, including classes in management and entrepreneurship. This minor can be tailored for finance, marketing, accounting and management majors.
