F. Graduate student evaluation procedures

Graduate students in both the M.S. and Ph.D. programs are evaluated yearly by the Chemistry faculty to assess progress toward completion of requirements, including especially research, but also course work and TA performance. The purpose of these evaluations is to determine the candidate’s overall fitness for their chosen program. In addition, the evaluations should bring out any areas of unsatisfactory progress so that the student can be made aware of them.
