Human Anatomy Dissection Team

Each year, students with a passion to learn more about the human body can join the advanced human anatomy dissection team. The members of the dissection team meet each Friday to dissect human cadavers and prepare the materials for the upcoming laboratory sections the following week. Each member is also assigned to assist with the teaching of one of the laboratory sections of the course. As a member of the human dissection team, you will have opportunities to deepen your knowledge of anatomy, gain teaching experience from peer-to-peer teaching in lab, and sharpen your dissection skills.

Members of the team earn upper-division biology credits (BIOL 423 and 424) and spend two semesters assisting in the anatomy labs. This program also allows for outreach and recruitment experiences, through volunteering in the anatomy labs while potential biology and neuroscience students visit, as well as other organizations. To learn more about this amazing opportunity, check out the recent story published in ÁùºÏ±¦µä Today.
