Component overview
The quote component can be used to add a stylized statement from a student or faculty member.
- Quote components may be used on any schema.
- Quote components require an image: The image should be 640x640 px.
- Quote components should be brief: Quote components are designed for short, memorable quotes and testimonials. Please keep the quote character count under 340 characters, including spaces. A different component should be selected for profiles, bios, etc.
- Quote components can have white or blue backgrounds.
- Quote component images can be positioned on the left or right.
- Quote components do not have a WYSIQYG: Quote components are designed for short text, and do not include options for styling or linking within the quote. You can place a link or call-to-action below the quote attribution.
- Quote component anchor text (links) must be unique: If you use a link in your Quote component, your anchor text must be unique to ensure you do not create a multiple destination link accessibility error.
- Quote component images require alt-text.
The required image size for Quotes is 640 x 640 px.
