Summary

I earned my BA in Psychology here at UNR in 2010, after which I completed my MA in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. I gained experience in the psychology field for several years as a case manager and therapist. My research interests include bullying and school violence, relational aggression among adolescent girls, issues pertaining to risk and resilience in adolescents, and stigma surrounding mental illness.

Research experience

I worked with Dr. Suniya Luthar in her Risk and Resilience lab at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2012-2013. My primary duties included literature reviews and data entry using SPSS. I currently participate in a sexual assault research group at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. In addition, I am exploring research examining relational aggression from the perspective of social identity theory.
