The state of ÁùºÏ±¦µä’s economy has been steadily changing. As both the tourism and the technology sector have grown it has become increasingly important for ÁùºÏ±¦µä business, institutions and our workforce focus to situate themselves within a global economy. For the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno to be poised not only to train that workforce, but also facilitate international relationships through research and collaboration and create pathways for faculty and students to identify opportunities for growth, our university joined a cohort of 13 institutions in the ACE Internationalization LAB.
What is the ACE Internationalization Lab?
The University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno is part of a cohort of 13 institutions participating in the American Council on Education (ACE)’s Internationalization Laboratory program:

Participating in the ACE Lab makes the University one of more than 175 institutions that made a serious and sustainable commitment to internationalization.
The ACE Lab program is an 18-22 month process during which institutions partner with ACE experts and cohort universities to undertake a comprehensive internationalization process. As defined by ACE, comprehensive internationalization is a "strategic, coordinated framework that seeks to align and integrate policies, programs, initiatives, and individuals to position colleges and universities to be more globally oriented and internationally connected."
