Allison D. Evans, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. She specializes in comparative politics with a focus on Russian politics, labor and contentious politics. She is presently completing a book manuscript on sub-national variation in protest and local governance in Russia's company towns. Her work has also appeared as refereed articles in such journals as Comparative Political Studies and Comparative Politics.
