Looking to the future
Jones and Assistant Dean Candice Bauer are spearheading the effort to develop a new strategic plan designed to support students at all levels as well as to support research and research opportunities.
Work on the plan began in fall 2022, when Jones convened a group of top scientists, think tanks and national agencies to develop the plan. Regional and statewide leaders in industry and academia provided input last month. The plan to be completed in late spring or early summer.
