The Associated Students of the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä host a series of events, Coffee with Councilors, to encourage civic engagement.

The Associated Students of the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä (ASUN) will host upcoming events that encourage participation of the Wolf Pack community with Reno and Sparks City Councilors. The entire Wolf Pack community, especially students, is encouraged to participate in these events happening through November. 

Attendees will receive free coffee and are encouraged to make their voices heard at the following events happening from 1- 3 p.m. on the first floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union outside the Wolf Card office: 

  • 10.28.21 | City of Reno Councilmember Neoma Jardon
  • 11.4.21   | City of Sparks Councilmember Paul Anderson and City of Reno Councilmember Jenny Brekhus 
  • 11.9.21   | City of Sparks Councilmember Charlene Bybee and City of Reno Councilmember Oscar Delgado

"Our department believes in engaging students with every level of government,” ASUN Director of Legislative Affairs Robert Resnik said. “We want to emphasize the importance of local government. Students are an important part of the Reno-Sparks community, so we are grateful that our leaders are taking the time to listen to our concerns."
