Summary

I am passionate about Great Basin ecology as well as science education and outreach. I enjoy sharing the amazing plant and animal diversity of ÁùºÏ±¦µä with museum visitors of all ages. I am also the co-founder and Associate Director of the non-profit ÁùºÏ±¦µä Bugs & Butterflies.

Research interests

My research interests include plant-insect interactions, insect diversity (especially butterfly diversity) of the Great Basin, and place-based learning and curriculum development for K-12 students. Over the past few summers, I have been working to monitor and document rare species of butterflies across ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
