Summary
Drake McCrimmon earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 2015 and an M.S. in Geology from the University of South Carolina in 2017. His past research includes carbon cycling by microorganisms on alpine glacier surfaces, the formation of environmentally persistent free radicals (EPFRs) in contaminated soils, and the impact of oiled Louisiana wetlands after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He also has professional experience in drinking water quality from working at a water purification plant in New Orleans.
