Summary
A Bay Area native, I've always been interested in geology and earthquakes, deciding to become a geologist when I was 6. I received my B.S. in Geology with an emphasis in geophysics from UC Davis in 2019. While there, I completed a senior thesis on seismic anisotropy in Surprise Valley, CA. After graduation, I worked in environmental consulting in Seattle and then as a substitute teacher back in California. I started my Ph.D. in geophysics at UNR in 2022, working with Dr. Daniel Trugman in the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Seismological Laboratory. My current research is focused on Earthquake Early Warning and implementing it in ÁùºÏ±¦µä.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, crafting, and hanging out with my dog.
