Summary

Alana (she/her) is a former teacher and current doctoral student in Anthropology, and master’s student in Gender, Race, and Identity. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English and French, with a minor in Psychology from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno and a Master’s degree in Education from Hunter College in New York City. Her research interests include education, sexuality and gender, and how youth contest, modify and form ideas about sexuality, intimacy and the body within formal and informal spaces in schools. She has a rambunctious (and possibly ambidextrous) six-year-old daughter.
