Students will learn a variety of professional skills such as:
- Communicating across digital and print platforms
- Creating branded media
- Connecting with audiences on social media
- Reporting effectively, ethically and bilingually
- Creating audio, video, graphic design and photojournalism elements
- Producing compelling multimedia stories for multicultural audiences
- Analyzing media and consumers and conducting research on media and society
In addition our students have incredible internship experiences with local and regional news agencies, public relations and advertising firms, non-profits and government agencies.
