Dr. Doherty has an extensive history in cybersecurity in both industry and education.  He has experience in information assurance, network security and wireless and mobile security. His current interests are mobile app security and security design principles.  

Bill has been actively involved in the national cybersecurity education community. He is a member of the National Cyber Watch Center, and Cyber Watch West. He is also an advocate for collegiate cybersecurity competitions, and serves as the coach for the ÁùºÏ±¦µä Cyber Club participants in the National Cyber League and Wicked6 cyber competitions.
