Summary
Monique Normand is originally from Las Vegas, ÁùºÏ±¦µä and holds a master's degree in social work and a bachelor's degree in English, from the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä, Reno. Monique received her social work license in 2018 and her clinical social work license in 2022. She has previous experience working at the University of ÁùºÏ±¦µä Reno, in the Multicultural Center and in the Center for Student Engagement.
Monique enjoys community social work in addition to clinical and continues to work around issues that impact underrepresented communities in ÁùºÏ±¦µä. Monique comes from a person-centered and strengths-based approach, and has a passion for working with BIPOC communities, issues around identity, anxiety, depression, and childhood trauma. In her free time Monique enjoys singing and performing.
